Loose Threads, Tangled Knots
Could artworks or biennials have healing effect on the public in moments of crisis? Taking its cue from these question, this article focuses on four artworks that were part of the 14th Istanbul Biennial that ended in early November 2015.

Özge Ersoy

Özge Ersoy is a curator based in Istanbul. She is the program manager of collectorspace, a nonprofit organization that brings private art collections to public view and promotes critical discussions and writing on contemporary art collecting practices. She is also the managing editor of m-est.org, an online publication conceived as an artist-centered initiative. She holds an MA from the Center for Curatorial Studies at Bard College.
