There’s a light-heartedness to the way the twelve sculptures are scattered around the conservative English Gardens in Regent’s Park. The short duration of the Frieze Sculpture exhibition – 13 days – adds to the excitement.
On this overcast Sunday afternoon, People come in flocks to admire the sculptures. It’s a cheap and cheerful atmosphere. Visitors take full advantage of the fact that the objects can be touched or even jumped on and engage with them if only to use the artworks as goal posts for a sophisticated meander or as a backdrop for a funny picture.
